How about a submerged hydraulic lift?  I’ll bet you will get more done in a snazzy custom shop that reflects your own personality.  And you’ll be happier for it.

Ever want a man cave?  I mean a place dedicated to your interests—and your cars.  Think of it.  Organized tools, equipment, gas and lubricants, storage.  How about a super sound system?

What will be happening in the garage?  Will you be doing light mechanics like oil changes?  Or, will you be restoring a 1960 Ford Thunderbird?  You need a few tools to do oil changes.

In contract, the T-bird project will mean more investment and more space.  For example, you’ll need more electricity.  It takes 220V circuits to handle an air compressor or arc welder.  Likewise, good heating and cooling systems will extend comfortable time tinkering in your new automotive shop.

Garage Decor

Nobody said your auto workshop has to be dull and dark.  How about great style with nice floors?  Select rustic and artsy, classy, or sleek and shiny.
Add conveniences.  Lighting, heat and air, windows, a covered porch.  Even a desk or lounge.  Add a wash basin and/or bathroom.  It will provide endless advantages.  Even a bathroom and lounge or kitchenette may improve your facility.

Options for garage flooring has come a long way from concrete paints.  Tiles that promote bright, upbeat styles turn garages into much more than parking lots.  Go retro with checks or clean with ivory.

Let’s say you want to build a car from scratch.  You will need to think about installing nice LED lighting.  Florescent plus direct lighting helps reduce eye stress.

Ventilation and insulation are key elements of a Colorado automotive shop.  Placement and sizes of windows and doors are important.  Stylish and strong Clopay garage doors are a must. Windows placed 5-6 feet above the floor allow space for handy cabinets and storage.

And use the space up high, too.  Do you need elevators for extra cars?  If not, then put in some hanging shelves or a shelf along the upper reaches to store items you do not need very often.
