Remodeling Barns in Colorado: 2019 Project

This year we took on a complete Martin remodel project in Parker, Colorado. Our client bought a property with an existing building. This outbuilding had been divided into several rooms with connecting hallways. The new owners had no use for these small areas which seemed like they were built for storage.

To begin the remodel, Sapphire construction crews completely gutted the building. (Catch a glimpse of what we dealt with in the photo to your right.)
Then, we installed special customized Stablemaster horse stalls. Now we could envision the life of some happy horses. We added a tack room to organize the necessary equestrian get up. But the most enjoyable part may be the added porch. We put in split Dutch doors and built out this area for the horses to stand under and shelter.

Other Ways to Improve Equestrian Facilities

Now maybe your existing horse barn is equipped with stalls but you need other facilities. In Colorado an indoor arena can make a noticeable difference for training horses and horse riders. This type of indoor addition to your barn could add the value you are looking for. But simpler improvements such as a washroom, tack room, or viewing room also make life easier for the horses and caretakers. Even the installation of a large overhead door could solve some of the challenges that come to Coloradoans because of our four seasons. Outdoor stables and corrals also add space and value.
