It‘s Rodeo Time! Do You Need a New Horse Barn?
Summer is a great time to be outdoors at the rodeo. But, do you need a new horse barn to make it is easier to compete all year round? The Old West may just come more alive in your life and you will make lots of new friends. Imagine prepping for steer wrestling and some of the other attractions that accompany rodeo life in the modern era–fun times at music concerts, livestock competitions, craft beer tasting and even ski jumps.
Summer Rodeos
Just to get you a little more interested, here is mention of some of the Colorado rodeos scheduled for Summer 2018. We have some rodeo action at the Cowboy Up in Kiowa June 23-24th, 2018. The Mile Hi’s Firecracker Classic begins in Castle Rock Colorado June 30-July 1, 2018. Douglas County Fair and Rodeo is held in Castle Rock beginning August 5, 2018. And there are many more rodeos in Greater Denver. You and your horse can step out often.
Coming right up is the Colorado Springs Rodeo beginning June 20. Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo begins July 11, 2018 in Colorado Springs, of course. The family-friendly event features traditional rodeo games, bull riding, barrel racing and much more. Beginning June 22 is the Greeley Stampede which attracts over 250,000 people with its Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association Rodeo, the Big Buckle Ball, art exhibits, BMX show, Canine Spectacular, Fourth of July parade, and music.
The culture of Colorado rodeo continues. In Steamboat Springs, the Cowboys’ Roundup Days begins June 30 and that is where you will find added ski activities. There is also Range Call in Meeker, Cattleman’s Days in Gunnison, the Colorado State Fair in Pueblo (August 24-September 3, 2018). In addition, there are plenty of rodeo series in Cedaredge, Snowmass, Granby, Beaver Creek, Pagosa Springs, Brush, Estes Park, Salida, Golden, and Delta. The lists goes on.
A New Horse Barn for Wintertime
Kiowa County Fair and Rodeo comes up September 7-8. Would you like a to have your new horse barn and stables in place by then? Need a few more months? During winter, the well-known National Western Stock Show in Denver takes the cake. The massive event will be held again January 12-27, 2019. So, you have plenty of time to invest in equestrian facilities to help get you and your horse ready.
