Pole Barn Enclosed Swimming Pools
Be discreet when installing swimming pools. If you enclose one in a pole barn, who will know it’s there? Even the local wildlife will be kept away. Indoor swimming pools fit nicely into the wide-open spans of pole barn buildings. Most importantly, high-quality pole barns offer a lifetime of easy maintenance.
Sample Enclosed Swimming Pools
These two sample pole barns creatively enclose swimming pools. Pole barn methods could also be used for open sided pool houses.
Project# 219991, a hobby building for recreational use, incorporates a pool house. It measures 36 feet by 64 feet by 8 feet—2,304 square feet. The roof pitch of 4/12 accommodates 12 wood-lined skylights. The pool building comes with a concrete floor and radiant heat. Other materials incorporated include vinyl siding, Hayfield vinyl windows, and asphalt shingles. But you may prefer to use earthy camouflaging colors that would evade neighborhood pool hoppers.
Project# 615236 is an indoor/ outdoor swimming pool enclosed in a 40 foot by 63 foot by 12 foot building with 2520 square feet inside. The pool house building features four overhead doors. These roll up to allow fresh air and sunshine into the pool area and for easy access to the outdoor picnic area. The colors shown Clay and Snow White.
Variable Sizes
Choose to install an endless pool, an Olympic size pool, or a zero-entry swimming pool. Either way. there’s a beautifully sized hobby building in the ethers waiting for your project.
Add on to the length to give yourself an exercise room or a pool table and lounge. Would you rather add a garage and shop to work on your muscle car? In many Douglas County and Elbert County neighborhoods, folks may prefer to add horse stables.
Swimming Pools for Organizations
If your organization or school needs a pool for water ballet or swim team, think about the extra months of practice a heated pool has to offer. Do you need a swimming pool for competitions? Design a high-tech pool with lanes. How about adding “wave eaters,” to buffer the waves created by nearby swimmers?
Regulate the temperature, humidity, and lighting with your state-of-the-art design. Practice or give swimming lessons in your own pool. Or make it a salt pool, which could be just what the doctor ordered. Any way you go, that pole barn enclosure will make a Colorado swimming pool more useful year-round.
