Post Frame Buildings Customized for Manufacturing
Post frame buildings can be tailored to improve workflow and production in manufacturing plants. After watching decades of off shoring, entrepreneurs in the United States want to bring important manufacturing sectors back home. We all saw how vulnerable the supply chain was during covid. Most of our drugs, PPE, and the tests came from China—but they also needed them.
Central Colorado Good for Manufacturing
To manufacture, the employers need specially trained workers. In the United States, we often rely on universities and trade schools. Denver and Colorado Springs could provide the training needed by manufacturers in Douglas and Ebert counties, for example. In other countries like Germany, practical manufacturing work is highly valued. They use apprenticeship programs to train. That also would work in Colorado.
Sample Commercial Buildings by Lester Buildings
Back to post frame buildings. Manufacturing requires safe buildings with good workflow, ample space for equipment, production, storage, and workers. Here are three smaller post frame commercial buildings.
Post frame construction allows for faster builds and easier changes. Because pole buildings have flexible layouts, operations can expand, contract, and change. Our post frame buildings can be adjoined to additional buildings in the future.

Manufacturing Initiatives?
Initiatives to return manufacturing to the United States have involved some big names. Others interested in creating a way to improve the US supply chain can take up smaller segments of the operation. In 2021, the Biden administration sought to improve our access to semiconductors and batteries. Both are needed for the operation of electric vehicles. EVs are one thing, but what about necessities? What products do we use every day? How could an entrepreneur step in to do a little Made in the U.S.A. manufacturing?
Importance of U.S. Manufacturing
In summation, an article published January 13, 2023, in The Conversation underscores the importance of more manufacturing in the United States. Professor of Economics Amitrajeet A. Batabyai “examines how the lack of manufacturing competitiveness in the US leaves the US vulnerable to shortages of critical goods during times of geopolitical disruption and global competition. The strategies the US employs in bringing back manufacturing, along with innovative practices, will be key to ensure national security.”
Consider investing in our custom post frame buildings to make it happen.
