The Tough Open-Span Pole Barns Colorado Loves
We live to build the open-span pole barns Colorado so loves. Simple and tough, these magnificent post frame buildings are great for so many uses. They offer 60 to 90 foot spans with a pitched-roof design. From retail stores to fire stations to automotive shops and storage buildings to horse barns – these high-quality pole barns really fill the bill.
How tough is Pole Barn Construction?
Really tough. Not your grandfather’s barn at all. These structures and outbuildings have been rigorously tested and engineered over many decades. Improvements continue to this day, making the modern product and engineering feat. That is why buildings are covered by Lester Buildings Warranty.
Ratings for Colorado weather – the intense wind load and snow load capabilities – are met or exceeded by the design. The location, terrain, soil, and local building codes are very important factors considered during the custom design process for each post frame building. We make it a point to produce the highest quality product available in Central Colorado.
Energy Efficient
Thanks to numerous upgrades, our pole barns Colorado are energy efficient:
- Excellent insulation
- Reinforcement at roof angles and seams
- Top-quality windows and doors
- Superb ventilation design
Materials Used in Construction
An intricate plan enhanced by computer assistance allows our team, architects to designers to contractors and builders, a superior blueprint for success. All materials from the anchors and posts to the lumber and siding all the way down to the screws and bolts are specifically manufactured to suit the design and purposes of each building. Most buildings include specific lumber species, grade, and sizes, 29gauge steel or even 26gauge steel as well as very specific bay spacing and attachment methods.
Dimensions
Standard designs are a minimum of 12’ x 20’ x 7’ high. Maximum designs span 120 feet wide and 24 feet high with no limits on the length. The widest clear span available is 120 feet.
