Spring Car Shows

Want to race at the Colorado National Speedway, High Plains Raceway, Pikes Peak International Speedway, or the Bandimere Speedway? You can join other avid muscle car lovers at the many shows and gatherings held throughout the year. Coming up is Supercar Saturday on March 21 at Mike Ward Automotive. The same day you can zip over to carsforchristdenver.com to Andy’s 4th Annual Car Show. On Sunday, there is the All British Cars and Coffee or Cars & Boba. Spring Ray Aerial Car Meet happens the same day.

Denver Auto Show is March 25 beginning at noon. This is a premier showcase of the newest model year imports and domestic vehicles. All kinds of vehicles will be ready for your inspection, along with the peaks of innovative improvements. The Test & Tune event by RCSC Motorsports is a good one, also. This is March 28 and a place to get your 2020 Chassis Certification. Inspections began at 8 AM.

April 2020 events include Emich Track Day. It sold out for drivers but plan to ride along with another. May 4 Colorado car events include the Lafayette Cars and Coffee, the 10th Annual Car Show Series in Colorado Springs, and the Golden Super Cruise in Golden. The next day is the Annual Fiesta and Car Show in Colorado Springs.

Racetracks near Douglas County Colorado

Build your custom auto shop in Douglas County and you will be in good company. There are about a dozen racetracks in the area. Large ones include:

1. Colorado National Speedway in Dacono featuring NASCAR and All-Whelen series
2. High Plains Raceway in Deer Trail, CO, dedicated to amateurs
3. Bandimere Speedway in Morrison, a family run racetrack and drag strip
4. Pikes Peak International Speedway in Fountain

Move quickly to see way goes on at these tracks. On March 21 at Pikes Peak is the Track Attack Points 1 and Off the Street Drags. This is followed by Military and Driving Events on March 28. The Precision and Competition Driving School will be there April 25 and 26. These will prep you for the June 5 event, 2020 Hot Rod Dirt Drags, if you go for those kinds of races.

At the nearby Bandimere Speedway, there are Kart Auto Races on April 19. The 2020 Firebird Chase 5K is May 3. June 13 and 14 is a big day at Bandimere. It’s the Street WarriorZ x Clean Culture #Denver Throwdown.

High Plains features a Track Night 2020 event on May 12 and CECA/SAAC Open Track Day on May 30. Or do you prefer a daytrip?
