Owner Allen Randa, a master builder, heads up our team. By partnering with Lester Buildings, Sapphire Construction offers design, architecture, and engineering for custom industrial warehousing to fit your needs.
The Importance of Warehousing
Warehousing is an integral part of the supply chain in America. Companies and truckers depend on the availability of big warehouses to be able to stage and disperse product. In modern times, large businesses chose to conduct retail businesses in large warehouse buildings. But distributors depend on industrial warehousing. If you fly into Salt Lake City, you’ll notice miles of warehouse buildings with trucking docks.
When companies have insufficient warehouse space, then product often sits too long and new product cannot be unloaded. A block in the supply chain may have other causes such as insufficient employees.
For an everyday example, a big box grocer may end up with empty shelves because the back room is jammed with pallets of incoming groceries. Then a trucker cannot offload merchandise and return to the main warehouse for more. Hopefully, it won’t have the same issue.
Tell Allen Randa What Warehouse You Need
Our team needs to know what buildings you need and how you will use them. Do you have a building site? Do you know your budget? Have you determined the necessary square feet? What systems will be required—heating and cooling to mechanical stations such as conveyors.
Do you need restrooms, a break room and kitchen? How about a lobby or sales room? Maybe you’ll operate a retail business and need more windows. Or maybe you want to store vehicles and need elevators. Write down your vision and tell Allen your parameters.
